Farewell my friends...

Mon, 29 Mar 2010 21:47:23 -0400

I'm sorry Griff. I love you but I'm just not the same Priest/Paladin I used to be. I'm a new Toon... a Warlock that's got way too much resilience for PvE and simply not enough resilience to stay in this unsatisfying relationship.

Frankly Griffums; I've been getting really bored with our intimate relationship these last couple months. It's the same green Orc, same weird Death Knight ghoul thing drooling over us... I mean, I know that's what I pursued in you at first but it's just gotten so bland. I kept dropping hints that I needed a little more spice in our love life and you just kept staying later and later at work, drunk at your office doing wheelies in the parking lot on your chair.

I wish you only the best and I am so sorry that I feel this way. I know I should have tried harder to keep our love growing each and every day... but I failed. So the only solution is to go our own ways, we both know that.

I love you Griff, I hope you have an amazing life and find happiness with a different Guild.

Er, I mean with a different relationship.

Well, you know how it goes. We can say we will stay friends and still spend time together, even though we're not in the same guild - I mean relationship - but we know that's harder said than done. So if I don't see you anytime soon, I hope you're doing well and having a great time. Swing around once in a while, though. I'll miss you.

P.S. You left a couple things at my place. Your toothbrush and Midol are in a bag by the porch. Feel free to come by and grab them anytime.

Oh and I'm keeping the cat.

Nilah Out

Sat, 6 Mar 2010 01:44:52 -0500

I'm not a mincer of words, so. I've been offered a regular raid spot for Nilah in a schedule that fits with mine, and I decided to move her. This is just a personal decision for me, and I have no beef with anyone in the guild or with the guild in general. This isn't something I decided overnight or easily. I enjoyed my time with MI a lot, good times and good people. I know dps aren't exactly hard to come by, but if anyone ever needs Nilah for something I'll be around.

Goodbuys suck

Guys we have had a great time here in Magnus Inferna, but unfortunatly for personal reasons we need to leave.

Just about everyone here has been great to play with and we will miss being guilded with you. Please don't take this as we are leaving upset, we are not, we just think it best for us and MI.

I want to also thank you for the raids you let our boys into, they had a great time running them.

If you are ever in need of a healer and DPS we will still be here.

Best wishes for all of you

Wish I knew about this sooner...this would definitely have been road trip worthy to Mati! And only 90 minutes from where I live!

Awesome job guys!

icc loot in theory?

Sun, 21 Feb 2010 19:01:41 -0500

Honestly that's kinda how I've always felt. Magnus should be the last guild having loot issues because I think pretty much everyone is open to tossing to loot to everyone. I think we're one of the few guilds that would sooner go "oh, no you take it!" "No it's a bigger upgrade for you" "No it's cool I got this earlier take it!" than "I did 2k more dps mine!!".

I think everyone just being friends and wanting everyone else to get gear with no loot whores to be found is great. I know a lot of people here that would pass to a druid if they need it more, or haven't gotten much the last few runs. That alone is a major part of what makes this guild great. We should leave the loot arguments to the elitist loot-is-holier-than-thou people, cuz Magnus is about having a good time, not epix.
